Publisher's Description

Billy Graham describes Rose Adams as "a delightful Christian woman who cared for my mother, Morrow Coffey Graham, in her last two years of life." Decades later, Rose would still visit the reverend and his wife, Ruth, warming their hearts with memories of Mother Graham, as she was known, and how every conversation would lead back to the Bible.

In time, Adams put these recollections on tape for Billy Graham. Deeply touched, he then suggested putting them into book form, knowing so many would draw comfort and strength from seeing how one younger woman learned so much from an older one.

Treasured Moments with Mother Graham is the sparkling result, four months worth of daily devotions built from the diary of Rose Adams. Each entry includes a word of Truth from Mother Graham, a related Scripture and application, a recollection from Rose Adams to Billy Graham on the context and meaning of this teaching from his mother, and finally is complemented by reflections on this thought from Billy Graham. These are indeed treasured moments that span every book of the Bible and every facet of the Christian life.

Franklin Graham has devoted his life to meeting the needs of people around the world and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More About Rose Adams

Rose Adams, now 86, is still caring for people and also volunteers as hostess at the Billy Graham childhood home at the Billy Graham Library. This is the home in which she lived and cared for Mother Graham. People love to hear her stories about the many people who came to see Morrow Graham but the emphasis of the book is this: Rose cared for Mrs. Graham's physical needs but Mrs. Graham cared for Rose Adams' spiritual nurturing. One of the most memorable lines in Rose's notes is, "I was blessed to attend Mother Graham Seminary."

Endorsements/From the Foreword

"Our hope is not in our earthly lineage. I trust that through these pages you will sense Mother Graham's heart for others and particularly her grateful heart toward the Lord Jesus. She learned the wisdom of the ages - a heavenly heritage is far greater than any earthly heritage - to live in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter the age, the Savior gives comfort-care to all who will come to Him, all who are weary and heavy laden."
--Franklin Graham (Foreword)
