It's jam-packed with everything a reader could hope for - suspense, drama, romance and lives changed by a loving God. So many story lines expertly intertwined until they finally come together in the end - and suddenly it's all aver and you so wish there was more - and since this is only Book 1 in the series, there is more. It was great to read more of Riley Hale - a side character from the Mercy Hospital Series and watch her come to fully realize and trust God's plan for her life. I also loved meeting Jack Travis - a troubled hero, and watch him soften as God worked His plan out in his life.
All in all, a fantastic read which I recommend to all.
Diane Maurer5 Stars Out Of 5lots of actionJuly 11, 2013Diane MaurerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have read the earlier books of this author and thought they were good but this one exceeded them. I enjoyed the ER action and the life problems of the characters were meshed together in a way that everything was easy to follow. Medical mysteries and stories are on of my favorite types of books

Virginiaupstate NYAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Excellent bookAugust 6, 2012Virginiaupstate NYAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Riley is injured in an assault and is now a trauma chaplain at a hospital. But she wants to be an ER nurse again. Jack is a doctor who runs a community clinic for needy patients that the rich neighbors would love to get rid of. The two meet at the hospital and work at the clinic together, and also try to solve an old crime.
I thought this was an excellent book about the medical field. The story is well-written and the mystery was interesting. I'm looking forward to the author's next book.
