Publisher's Description

Life is not a flow chart. We weren't meant to master it on our own. We weren't meant to be mastered by it either. The discussion guides in the Transformation of a Man's Heart series put us in conversation with God and with one another to see how God shapes and transforms us in the ordinary experiences of our lives. I do, therefore I am? What men do is incredibly important to them. Once they stop doing, they suspect, they will cease to exist. But although what we do is important to God, who we are--and who we're becoming--is more important. This discussion guide, inspired by essays in The Transformation of a Man's Heart, puts men's work--how men occupy their time--into the context of their relationship with God. He created us, he places a calling on us, and he claims us when our work is done. This study accompanies the book, The Transformation of a Man's Heart, compiled and edited by Stephen W. Smith.
