Publisher's Description

Tozer on Christian Leadership by A.W. Tozer is a 366 day devotional on the topic of Christian leadership. The idea of Christian leadership is broad and can seem unimportant to someone not in an administrative or ministerial position. But it is much deeper than that and has ramifications that stretch into the personal and spiritual life of every Christian. To lead is to foster a more submissive relationship with God the Father while taking moral authority over the forces of the world.  Tozer uses the image of obedience to lay the groundwork for his yearlong devotional on Christian leadership.

As Abraham, the oldest of the Church fathers, was on his face before God, so should our position of obedience be to God. Leadership, he says, comes from this place of submission.  Over the course of the year, Tozer goes over many different aspects of leadership, including that of the personal life, evangelizing and a spiritual revival of the church. Tozer challenges the believer to take an attitude of humility before God and men, and listen patiently to the whispering inner voice. Tozer declares, "Let Him work and your spiritual life will begin to blaze like the rising sun."
