Does God belong in the public arena of politics, business, law, and education? Or is religion a private and personal matter only? Pearcey challenges 21st-century believers to overcome our cultural double-mindedness and learn to "think Christianly" about secular topics. The included study guide offers practical hands-on steps for crafting an illuminated, faith-based worldview. 512 pages, softcover from Crossway.
Nancy Pearcey is scholar for worldview studies at Philadelphia Biblical University’s Center for University Studies. Pearcey has authored or contributed to several works, including the ECPA Gold Medallion winner How Now Shall We Live? (with Charles Colson) and The Soul of Science (with Charles Thaxton).
How can you liberate Christianity from its cultural captivity? In this superbly crafted cultural analysis, noted author Nancy Pearcey passionately argues that Christianity is truth about all reality, not just religious truth, and that to keep it privatized is stripping it of the power to challenge and redeem the whole of culture.

This book should be required reading at all Christian Universities and colleges, and for all teachers, pastors, and politicians.
It affirms the Christian worldview and reveals how we have bought into the dualistic lie of the world: that faith and reason must remain separate, that there is a "secular" and "religious" realm and never the two shall meet. Pearcy convincingly reaffirms God's claim to all truth, and arms the Christian to confidently stand his ground. Any college bound Christian should read this book to be fully equipped to notice the deception and preconceptions that natural humanists present as fact. It is a book destined to become a permanent part of all serious Christian thinker's libraries.
