It is excellent and I believe that every one should take the time to read it. The real root of unforgiveness is always selfishness and it is sad today that becoming right has become more important than saying I am sorry. When the truth is you can be right and wrong at the same time it all depends on how you see the situation in your mind. So why not just forgive and bless the other person or person's involved with kind words rather than trying to make your self look good at the expense of another. After all when Jesus went to the cross to take our place He said "Father forgive them they know not what they do." So how much more should we be the same way. We must love and practice forgiveness on a daily basis for we will reap what we sow. I give this book a five * rating it is a must read!

Mr. Kendall writes with words that truly challenge our emotions and thinking. I have given this to so many people and their comments continue to be the same about how they find a new perspective on the word "forgiveness". This book helps to open our eyes and hopefully our hearts to healing. I think many pastors should recommend this book to their congregations.
Larry Heath5 Stars Out Of 5May 3, 2012Larry HeathQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I ordered this material for the Spring Quarter of our Marriage Enrichment study group of 50 adults. From the beginning of the study it has become apparent to participants that this is not a shallow or hastily written treatment of a much needed subject. The personal experience of the author in his experience with "total forgiveness" inspires each participant to face the fact that Christians need a defining look at what total forgiveness is and isn't.
Sadly the subject of forgiveness is often presented in a limited way to mean that we just say, "I am sorry"- "forgive me"-"get over it". However, Total Forgiveness explores this primary Biblical truth in such a way that almost immediately you are challenged to think about what you have been taught about forgiveness, and how much have you really given and received total forgiveness. It will disturb one's knowledge, understanding, and experience of our Lord's teaching on this valuable dimension of our spiritual growth.
Our small group discussions around the textbook and each person's personal journal entries in the study guide are leading all of us to a deeper reality of what God's love, the cross, and freedom from the bondage of unforgiveness is all about. Whatever format you may choose to use this material, in a group or personal, you will not regret it's impact on your life.

It's well written, and I believe that it explains what God expects from each of his children... there's really nothing harder than to forgive the people who've wronged you - except finding a way to ask God to bless them! But with this book, I'm working on it. And I'm quite thankful that I found something to help me.
