On the heels of his highly successful Diverse City, tobyMac returns with his third studio album, thirteen fresh songs featuring his trademark pop, rock, rap style. Infused with a healthy dose of fun party vibes, Portable Sounds includes the smash hit single "Made to Love" as well as "Ignition," "Feelin' So Fly," and "Hype Man," featuring his son and studio mate TruDog.

This is the BEST album from tobyMac ever—hands down. Not only does this album have genius lyrics, amazing production, and a rich diverse (city) music range, but it contains great graphics in the booklet that comes in the CD case. The only thing I strongly dislike about this album are the little funny songs Toby attaches to the end of the normal songs. (Especially the “Opera Trip” featuring Mandisa on the “Boomin’” track. I’m sorry, but this ruins the whole song for me.)
