Located in: Birmingham, AL Submitted: September 21, 2000 Tell us a little about yourself. I am presently teaching high school Bible at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, AL. I also am Coordinator of Christian Outreach for the school. I am married and have four children. What was your motivation behind this project? The same as it was for "To Walk..." namely, to assist believers in dealing with discouragement and depression through encounters with people in God's Word who faced similar circumstances and battled the same emotions. While I am supportive of Christian counseling, I also believe that many believers fail to appropriate the grace and strength God has for us in His Word as our first choice in times of difficulty. "To Run..." follows the genre and format of "To Walk..." and is in every way a sequel. (NavPress has a new cover for "To Run..." When you update the page with this product on it, I would appreciate seeing the new cover. It's not as dreary as the old one!) What do you hope folks will gain from this project?
