Author/Artist Review

Author: Sheila Wray Gregoire

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a homeschooling mom of 2 girls (ages 8 and 5). We also had a son seven years ago who died when he was a month old after heart surgery. We love camping, reading, biking and I'm trying really hard to love gardening but the weeds are getting in the way.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I was surrounded by women who were depressed-- depressed because they had way too much to do and little help. They felt overwhelmed, and many felt taken for granted. This is not the way God intended our lives to be!

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Remember why we do the things we do: to create better relationships. None of the rest matters. So let's refocus, dedicate ourselves to our families, and encourage our families to help, too!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Kay Arthur (great Bible studies!), Becky Pippert (urges us towards evangelism, the real purpose of our lives), Francine Rivers (just cause I love her), and Max Lucado.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  God cares more about you than He does about the size of the dust bunnies under your bed!
