This Bible did not just change the he's to "they's". The issues are much deeper than this. Google the differences between the 1984 NIV and the TNIV and you will see entire paragraphs reworded and changed. I forget but like 30-40% of this bible may have been changed from the 1984 NIV that we grew up with. They are required to change more than a few he's and she's because they need to change a large enough percentage of the NIV in order to get a new copyright license. So many many changes have been made. A few were good corrections or clarifications but most that I read were bad changes that made the bible say what it did not mean to say. This Bible isn't the end of the world. It's still better than the new Voice Bible (movie screenplay bible). But it's worse than the 1984 NIV by a lot. And also worse than the 2011 NIV (which I would also avoid)
