5 Stars Out Of 5
Another great story in the GCI Series
October 10, 2012
I have always enjoyed Melody Carlson, and she did not disappoint me in this book. If you have read any of the stories in this series in the past, this one will certainly make you smile. If not, I suggest that you at least read book one, so you understand how the sisters came together to turn their childhood home into a much loved, and very popular Bed & Breakfast. But even without book one, this tale will delight you.
The sisters are old friends to me now, as I "visit" Grace Chapel Inn off and on in my reading material. I was really happy to find that Mark, Alice's old boyfriend was to be in this book... I have a soft spot for stories involving "old flames" who may or may not become more. Mark was very much a part of this tale - and what a good tale it was!
It's Easter week, Alice has taken the week off, and the sisters are involved in all kinds of Easter activities, plus they have a house full of guests. The guests are there all week long, just long enough to get to know each other and the sisters so that there is a lot of involvement in each other's lives. It is a warm and cozy tale, with just enough rocking of the boat to make things interesting.
This book is suitable for teens and adults.
