Time Changer, DVD

The year is 1890 and Bible professor Russell Carlisle (D. David Morin) has written a new manuscript "The Changing Times." His book is about to receive a unanimous endorsement from the board members of the Grace Bible Seminary until his colleague Dr. Norris Anderson (Gavin MacLeod) raises an objection. Dr. Anderson believes that what Carlisle has written could greatly affect the future of coming generations. Using a secret time machine, Anderson sends Carlisle over 100 years into the future, offering him a glimpse of where his beliefs will lead. Rated PG (for thematic elements). Closed-captioned. Approx. 90 minutes.

One of the most thought provoking films i've ever seen, Are we really serving Christ fully or are we slowly being "desensitized" to accept the things of the world?

I just finished watching this film and I loved it SO MUCH that I wish I could give more than five stars!! I must admit I don't often find Christian movies to be made with great production values but this film BESIDES excellent production values has a WONDERFUL, INSPIRING, CONVICTING story (that NEEDS to be seen by all in today's world, ESPECIALLY "the church!), excellent acting, humor, suspense and most of all, the TRUE GOSPEL preached! See this film! Buy it! Rent it! JUST see it!! And tell everyone you know about it!

This is a very timely film. At a critical time in the history of the church, we need to reevaluate our attitudes, values, and relationship with the Lord. The church is under attack from within...not just without. It desperately needs a revival - so that it can successfully be a witness to a dying world. This film can easily be applied to what is happening today. Bravo!

The movie has a great message and is entertaining. The scenes could have been more funny than they were with the character who traveled but overall I felt it was a good movie. Good enough that we are showing it at our movie night at our church building in September 2009.

This is a very thought provoking film. We really need to think about how our faith affects our actions, and how our actions will affect future generations. Our church showed it New Year's Eve, and we decided we had to have it for our collection.
