This five-session study of Isaiah begins with a study of the song of the vineyard. The second session considers the experience surrounding Isaiah's call. The third session examines the prophet's words of hope for the people in exile in Babylonia. The fourth session looks at the work of God's suffering servant. The final session deals with the ultimate restoration of God's people to joyful, peaceful relationships. This teacher book contains tips for preparing each lesson, Bible background, a step-by-step lesson plan, and optional methods for each session. An informative background article is also included.
This series of short-term Bible studies (4-8 weeks) is designed to guide adults who wish to explore a particular book of the Bible for a limited number of sessions. Books slated for inclusion in the series are primarily from the New Testament, with a few often-requested books from the Old Testament. Uses the New Revised Standard Version.
