4 Stars Out Of 5

This documentary highlights the lives and sacrifice of five young men who shared a passion to reach the Auca people in Ecuador, 1950's. Actual footage is shown of their first encounters with the Auca, the aftermath of the massacre, but especially God's amazing transformation of the murderers and their tribes when the families of the men came to offer not just forgiveness, but the Gospel which initially sent these men into the jungles. Narrated by Elisabeth Elliot, widow of one of the men, the documentary was probably low-budget, accounting for less visual/audio quality. It is still well-worth seeing and inspirational. I also highly recommend her book by the same title even more.
