Product Description

With The Flame In All Of Us, TFK continues to diversify their sound without watering down their crunchy hard rock styles. Their third full length album packs a riff-heavy punch, combining aggressive sing-along anthems with straightforward modern rock styles. Includes "Falls Apart," "What Do We Know?," "Favorite Disease," and more.

Since 2000, Ontario’s own Thousand Foot Krutch has endeared itself to redemptive rock’s faithful teen fanbase with hard-hitting anthems (“Rawkfist,” “Move,” etc.) and moving power ballads (“This is a Call,” “Moment of the Day,” etc.). Elements of blue-eyed funk, post-modern punk and nümetal helped the band sell nearly half a million records over three national releases.

While TFK could have easily gone back to its previous formula for success, credit the guys for taking some calculated risks and strategic creative stretches with their latest effort, The Flame in All of Us. The album’s title track is the perfect example with its grunge-influenced guitar riff opening and its tribute to Fall Out Boy on the chorus. In fact, Trevor McNevan’s distinctive vocals are one of the few things that will remind people of Thousand Foot Krutch’s musical past. That is of course, until you hit “New Drug” (and “My Own Enemy” two tracks later) which finds a crispy and crunchy TFK once again dropping its unique take on funk rock.

Topically, Thousand Foot Krutch addresses a wide variety of interpersonal issues (not too unlike past offerings) such as temptation, passion, purpose, hopelessness, security and freedom in Christ. And while the band seems to be going through some creative growing pains in the process, the good news for McNevan & Co. is that they continue to establish themselves as one of faith-fueled rock’s legitimate players.

Chad Bonham-

I absolutely LOVE this album! The combination of their just flat out rock songs (“My Own Enemy”) with their slower songs (“My Home”) makes this CD their best so far. I love how they have made four albums and they have done something different and new each time while also keeping it their style.
