Located in: Waterville, ME Submitted: November 14, 2012 Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a husband, daddy, and youth pastor. 26 years old and thrilled with the life I've been given in Christ. What was your motivation behind this project? After identifying the book of Proverbs as a father's journal for his son, I wished for one from my father and then decided to provide one for my children. It is a journal for them to read once they've grown and is daringly transparent. It contains the lessons I've learned from living life daily. What do you hope folks will gain from this project? One reader thanked me for helping them "fall in love with Jesus all over again." This has since been my prayer for every reader. How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I am astonished to see God continually use the small things in life for big purposes. Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? A primary inspiration for me to begin writing (though it didn't begin with public reading in mind) was Donald Miller. His willingness to share life with me (a reader) I've considered an honor. Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: God loves using broken people. And I will go to great lengths and personal pains to expose the truth of that. Find Related Products |
