I like The Beautiful Republic. This cd has excellent guitar riffs, and dynamic vocals. Definitely rock-n-roll. Some of my favorite tracks are Learning to Fall, No Turning Back, and Surrender Saved My Life.

This band reminds me of bands like Cool Hand Luke, Anberlin, & Further Seems Forever. I always love finding really good edgier Christian music. I love how they’re not afraid to get really deep in their writing. The Christian walk isn’t easy & it’s so often sugar-coated. They’ve done a great job of describing what it’s like to hit rock bottom & striving to seek God’s will. I also like how they included a short description of why they wrote each song—it makes the songs that much more personal & easier for the listener to connect with the lyrics. This album was well done.

Totally agree with Elizabeth. As incredible as their first CD! Again, very good mixture of heavy and soft songs, great voice, great sound! Favorite songs are : PAIN, LEARNING TO FALL, BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN and FOR THE LIFE OF ME. Another wonderful selection of songs, a lot of potential hits! You won't be disappointed!

Since both of their CDs were only a couple months apart I was worried that the second CD wouldn't be so great... I was wrong... very nice CD; u should buy.

I've loved TBR since their first CD, and this does NOT disappoint! The songs are amazingly real and come across with intense feeling. From the meaningful "Learning to Fall" to "No Turning Back," they will make you feel closer to God. You will not regret buying this CD. I've had it in my vehicle for weeks now and I'm loving every minute of it.

Perceptions can move you to tears and then create a heated passion for God in just a few minutes time. The vocals show immense diversity and skills. The instrumentations are stellar. If you want to worship to rock this album is for you.
