This is a magnificent work of scholarship. I have wanted this set for a long time, and am so pleased that I finally have it. I use various of the volumes every day in researching OT passages. I would have preferred that the publisher had left the cited Hebrew passages in their original script, with the transliteration alongside for those requiring it. This complaint aside, I cannot imagine being without this set. An excellent purchase. Thank you CBD.

This is a response to customer review: You say the set is incomplete at 15 volumes? The description of the product only lists 15 volumes, the picture of the set only shows 15 volumes. I can't find a 16 volume version of this set anywhere online in hard or digital copy. Where have you found a 16th volume or separate index? I have reviewed a couple of sections of this set through online examples and from what I can tell, every volume contains its own index and transliteration key. I currently only own abridged, single-volume wordbooks and these are gradually becoming less adequate in my studies. I will be making this purchase as soon as I can fund it.

I have the volumes fro 1 to 15 and have found them to be extremely useful in getting the root meanings of the Hebrew words. Unfortunately this set is not complete and I am still waiting for volume 16 plus the indexes. Hopefully they will be completed shortly. I also have the TDNT and have found it to be invaluable in my Bible studies. I would recommend the TDNT without reservation to anyone interested in doing serious Bible Study.

This is a must for anyone who wants to study the Bible fully. I also use The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament by Kittel and The Complete word study Bible and dictionary set by Zodhiates, I use all three to get the deepest meaning out of my Bible study.
