Mission Messenger was a monthly paper published by Ketcherside - it was a free paper including postage and dealt with issues of the day with regard to mid-century (in and around 1950 and later) developments within the Stone/Campbell Movement. His monthly publication along with the 13 books he authored spell out the changes in his teaching and his journey into an attitude of fellowship with those who did not agree with him in terms of Christian doctrine. At the time, the Movement was deeply engrossed in legalism at all levels. Ketcherside and Leroy Garrett may have been the first to see the need for a more open communion of believers. If you have a background in the Restoration Movement, you will love this body of work.

This 12 volume set contains the entire corpus of the author's monthly journal, Mission Messenger (MM), from 1957 to 1975, the last year of its publication, plus unabridged copies of his 13 books written from 1948 to 1991, the year he published his autobiography Pilgrimage of Joy.
