My daughter and I tried to get my psyzoid husband to talk about his feelings, it worked somewhat. My daughter and I found it useful to understand each other. Good tool for a family that doesn't talk much about feelings.
Rhea Zakich5 Stars Out Of 5November 9, 2009Rhea ZakichI am the one God used to create this amazing game and I thank Him daily for the lives it has changed. The Ungame encourages people to spend time together sharing things that are important in a safe environment since one of the rules is that no one is to talk unless it's his/her turn. It teaches us to listen to one another and learn what's going on in someone's life. People share things in this game that they might never share anywhere else because it's often the only place they don't have to worry about being interrupted or challenged. It's a safe place. You'll be surprised to find out how many people are longing for such a place.
Laura White5 Stars Out Of 5September 20, 2007Laura WhiteI loved this game...for both my family and the small group I lead for middle schooler students. It's a great way to break the ice and then start digging a little deeper with questions that make you really think about life, your purpose, your path, your relationship with Christ and with others.
Dean5 Stars Out Of 5March 13, 2007DeanI first played this game 20 years ago. It's one of the ways my future wife and I got to know each other in a deeper way. I've not come across an easier way to deepen relationships than to play this game. At first you think it's corny, but soon you'll not want it to stop. You'll laugh, cry, and find out that it is truly a cool thing when you can let yourself be known.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am a wife of 48 years, mother of two sons and grandmother of two little girls. I am an active member of the Crystal Cathedral (Robert Schuller Ministries) in Garden Grove, CA, where I am currently the Women's Bible Study Teacher and a retreat leader.
What was your motivation behind this project? I created the Ungame 35 years ago when my children were young. I had been diagnosed with a throat ailment that required me to refrain from talking. After months of silence and two surgeries, I was told I may NEVER get my voice back. Realizing that I had been a nagging mother who rarely shared her feelings or talked about the things were were really important, I prayed for a way to communicate with my husband, children, siblings and friends. I know God brought the idea of the Ungame to me. It changed our family and now has changed millions of families, for which I thank God daily.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? The Ungame is an wonderful way to learn about the people you think you know. Of course people's feelings and ideas change from day to day so playing this game is a great way to stay up to date with those you care about, by finding out what's going on inside them.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The people who have influenced me most are non- famous people who have been willing to share their feelings, beliefs, fears, joys, and personal experiences AND have listened patiently to mine.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: In our fast-paced lives, we sometimes neglect to carve out time to sit and talk to each other about the things that are important. And when we DO talk, we sometimes fail to listen with our heart to what the other person is trying to communicate. The Ungame is a perfect way to draw people in close together and to draw out what is on the minds and in the hearts of each player, from children as young as 3 to the elderly who have much to share if someone takes the time to listen.
