This program has been in our church for years. Some people are turned off by the use of Higher Power when they want to talk about Jesus. With this program, it uses scripture to back up the principles of the secular 12 step programs. Most issues we have with ourselves and others have a spiritual basis. If that spiritual issue is not brought into the light it will continue. This program exposes you to God's truth as revealed in Jesus. He is our guide.

I Sponsor several guys at my church. We use this set of steps to heal from our past, and grow spiritually in our recovery. Many of us, including myself have worked the twelve steps through secular fellowships. These questions and exercises facilitate our growth and recovery where the others lacked. Jesus Christ is the key to successful recovery and this book is an awesome tool to do our part in our recovery program. God Bless all those that try this "spiritual Journey." Not recommended for those who are not willing to work hard for their recovery, and freedom from addiction!

This book has been the best I've ever used after over 20 years working with hurting people. I find that keeping the group focused on the common behavior characteristics promotes healing and consistency. The group is empowered to support each other.
