Product Description

"My good friend Joe Stowell points out that after 9/11, God was - at least temporarily - back. But, in the mushy ecumenism that followed the attacks, Jesus was not welcome. Rather than indulge in hand-wringing, Stowell analyzes the problem and goes on to provide wise, practical principles for making Jesus known in our challenging day and in our jaded culture."
-Chuck COlson, founder of Prison Ministries

Publisher's Description

Our pluralistic society accepts all... all except Jesus. Joseph Stowell brings to light our need to be undaunted advocates for Jesus in a world that has no tolerance for Him or His followers. How do you reach those who do not have a churched background, or are openly hostile to the good news of Jesus Christ? Would you miss church to go fishing with your colleague at work? What should or would you do when golfing with three non-believing friends, and they want to play for 'prize money'? Joseph Stowell's style is biblical and insightful, but always within reach of today's reader.

Good reading, the kind that makes one think, and presents truths that are obvious, once they are brought to our attention.

This review was written for The Trouble with Jesus.
I recommend this book for anyone wanting to better understand how to prepare for the issues that are attacking the exclusive claims of Jesus. This book will strengthen your faith, convict inactivity and highlight the need for reaching a lost world with the name above every name. Learn how to reach people for Christ in a increasingly anti-Christian culture. Great resource for small group discussion.
