Tell us a little about yourself. I am 54 years of age and I have five children. I am a former criminal trial attorney. My goals in life now are to help people understand that God realizes and understands the very real challenges of being a Christian in today's world and has more that equipped us for the task; if we only trust Him. I hope to convey this in all of my work.
What was your motivation behind this project? My many years in criminal law made me acutely aware that there is a very present evil in this world. When I became a Christian I underestimated that presence and paid dearly for it. In my recovery from self exaltation God gave me a dream which became The Third Cross.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope folk will receive the message I did. No matter how dark and dismal a situation may appear God always stands ready to extend his loving hand to redeem us and will often use extraordinary circumstances to do so.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? This project was extremely therapeutic during a period when I needed divine therapy. At the risk of sounding eccentric I must say God actually provided wisdom beyond what I possess aiding me in much of the dialog in the work. I was profoundly in a way I still may not understand.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? James Scott Bell and Francine Rivers were heavy influences in my decision to write in this genre.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Trusting God is not always easy, but is is always necessary if we are to navigate this life in a manner that both glorifies Him and assists others in their struggle for true faith.
