Product Description

Featuring the wonderful illustrations of Tim Jonke, this best-selling children's book tells the Easter story from a new and unusual point of view. Three trees on a mountain dream of what they wanted to become when they grew up. One wants to be a treasure chest, another an ocean-going boat, and the third a signpost to God. Their wishes come true in a way they never expected. Children will be deeply touched as they understand, perhaps for the first time, the significance of Christ's life and his atoning sacrifice on the cross. Recommended for ages 4 and up.

I have been familiar with this book for many years. It made an impact on me at least 16 years ago. I have purchased many copies and given them for gifts . It's a great book to add to any child's library.

I am always looking for good books to read at night with my children and found one with this book. The story captivated my three boys aged 4, 7 and 9. It was a delight to read and the pictures were illustrated nicely. I love a story with a Christian underlying theme. It is a book we have read many times. Highly recommend it for Easter!

This book was given as a baby shower gift in lieu of a card. Great story to aid discussion with your children about who Christ is and who we are as a result.

I heard the 'principle' message of the three trees in a sermon. I was surprised to see it was from a children's book. It is truly the resurrection story from a new and different point of view. Not only will children be deeply touched but so was this adult!
