Sea Glass Sisters is another exciting story by Lisa Wingate!
A family disagreement causes a mother and her daughter to drive from Michigan to North Carolina's Outer Banks to see the sister, Aunt Sandy who owns Sandy's Sea Shell Shop, "An ocean of possibilities".
They arrive about the same time as a storm coming up the coast. The daughter and mother help Sandy prepare for the hurricane.
Really great lessons:
"Well, Iola Anne Poole is a woman of the Banks, through and through." Aunt Sandy says it like that explains everything. "This place gets in your blood."
"You don't always realize the golden moments in life when they're happening. But when they're gone, you miss them."
"No way out but through the storm." she whispers again. "We're not alone."
"It's some life, here on these Outer Banks. It really is."
This is another outstanding, interesting and exciting book by Lisa Wingate. I highly recommend this book!
