5 Stars Out Of 5

I really loved this trilogy by Bergren and though my daughter is still very young, I will be saving it for her to read years from now. It's a compelling tale of adventure, one that stuck with me for weeks. It does include quite a bit of "teenage" language and feelings, which I would not wish to introduce to my daughter too early, but I find it an excellent work for teenage readers.
I wouldn't be introducing this to anyone looking for them to learn anything extremely significant about faith and God (though they are mentioned several times, briefly) - but I feel strongly that it's a good story that stands well on its own. It's clean, finds its main character learning and maturing, offers a noble, faithful, and respectful hero that offers a good example of the kind of man worth waiting for, and pulls you along with a large amount of captivating action. I'm a big fan.
