I wouldn't call it love...Love isn't PREDICTABLE!
Isn't this the book where the women falls off the ladder and then some new guy catches her and then her mentally unstable father decides that she should marry this stranger?
Eh, I don't know, I read this book in one sitting the day after Christmas when I was about 15. I know this lady thought she would be single forever but then she got married. I mean, I would prefer to read 265 pages about how Lori Wick decided to have oatmeal for breakfast today. That's: 1. More unpredictable 2. More interesting. And finally, it would be more spiritually fruitful to read about.
I would say this book isn't worth the paper it's written on, but I had a lot of fun writing responses to the main man's extremely feminine dialog and actions.
Actually, in the fateful ladder scene, I found myself internally shouting at the man-that-catches to WALK UNDER THE LADDER!!! JUST W-A-L-K UNDER IT, MAN!!! That would be a better outcome.
Lori Wick, take notice.

The Rescue
This is such a sweet story. I would say this is Lori Wick at her best.

Powerful story of restoration through God's unchanging love for His people. Wow! Loved this book. Highly Recommended it to all Christians as well as non believers. Very humbling.
