Reviewed by Linda Swafford (Houston, TX), August 27, 2010This Bible helps the history, the people and places of Gods word. If you are taking a class on Biblical history this Bible is a must Enjoy Reviewed by Anita Sampson (White Plains, MD), August 27, 2010The Bible is an excellent source of history and provides a greater understanding of Jesus. There is a flow from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Reviewed by Terrell Maxwell (San Antonio, TX), August 05, 2010This book failed to meet my expectations. I thought Reese would place the books in chronological order - not the verses. But cutting and pasting the verses into a "perceived" order is very dangerous because it takes the Bible out-of-context. For example, Reese accepts the Gap Theory that the earth was destroyed between Verses 1 and 2 of Genesis. Reese believes this is when Satan fell from heaven - thus, the earth was destroyed then recreated. However, there is no evidence in the Bible to suggest this when Satan was dispelled from Heaven. Any book that cut-and-paste scriptures I stay away from. Reviewed by Franklin Smith (Morrisvale, WV), July 16, 2010Loved this Bible! Our church is studying the tabernacle and reading this book made it so much more understandable. I would recommend this to everyone. Use it along with your Bible. It will help simplify things. Reviewed by Jan Frantz (Clinton, IL), April 13, 2010I am very pleased with my Reese Chronological Bible, the time line helps me to have a better understanding of God's plan for us. I let some of my friends look it over and 2 of them were so impressed that they had me order them one. Reviewed by J. E. Bokina (Chattanooga, TN), March 19, 2010Bible Readers in my church are reading the Reese's Chronological Bible this year. Most everyone likes it because it presents a different reading experience of the Bible. I will be using it as a reference book later as it contains excellent information about the dating of Bibical times. Reviewed by Diane Neal (Stilwell, OK), January 27, 2010Love this Bible.
