The Bible is an excellent source of history and provides a greater understanding of Jesus. There is a flow from the Old Testament to the New Testament.

This book failed to meet my expectations. I thought Reese would place the books in chronological order - not the verses. But cutting and pasting the verses into a "perceived" order is very dangerous because it takes the Bible out-of-context. For example, Reese accepts the Gap Theory that the earth was destroyed between Verses 1 and 2 of Genesis. Reese believes this is when Satan fell from heaven - thus, the earth was destroyed then recreated. However, there is no evidence in the Bible to suggest this when Satan was dispelled from Heaven. Any book that cut-and-paste scriptures I stay away from.

Loved this Bible! Our church is studying the tabernacle and reading this book made it so much more understandable. I would recommend this to everyone. Use it along with your Bible. It will help simplify things.

Bible Readers in my church are reading the Reese's Chronological Bible this year. Most everyone likes it because it presents a different reading experience of the Bible. I will be using it as a reference book later as it contains excellent information about the dating of Bibical times.
