This is a bold and unusual plot for an inspirational romance. Although the story is over-written (for example, emotions will jump to various extremes several times on the same page) and the plot details are unbelievable (just how, exactly, does Fiath get her treasure trove off the ship and past all the ruffians on the way to her hiding spot in the forest?) these details will not bother those readers who enjoy a good yarn with a spirited heroine and charming hero.

This book first grabbed my attention...being a true redhead myself...and Faith Westcott...not only fiery, a redhead....but a pirate too! I had to buy it. I was thrilled that I did. It was well worth it....It took me a little bit to get into it...as it wasn't fast paced in the beginning..which is fine...but it pulled me in..and I had to stay up until about 4:00 am to finish it..now that is a great book! This is def one for my bookshelf (I read and sell or donate those that I won't read again) and will read this many times in the future I am sure...Wonderful job Mary Lu Tyndall!

First of all "The Red Siren" by MaryLu Tyndall is the very first book I received from the author herself. I became very interested when she told me a brief detailed about the book. A lady, Faith Westcott, who is a lady by day and a pirate by night, in trying to save herself and her sisters from forced marriages by their own father who apparently shows no love for them. When her father has to leave on another mission for work he has a British Royal Navy, Dajon Waite, come to watch over Faith and her sisters.

As the story goes on Dajon in the meantime is trying to catch a lady pirate who apparently is Faith, and while he does not know Faith is the lady pirate he tries to show her spiritual faults. Read this book and see how the two, Faith and Dajon, overcome their past mistakes and see if or how Faith will ever regain her trust in God only! After reading "The Red Siren" I was swept away by this historical romance novel!

I think that this is an excellent read! It was a wonderful start to the Charles Towne Bells series and left me wanting more of the wonderful characters. Faith is headstrong, determined, and brave, and a wonderful heroine. She loves her sisters so much that she resorts to piracy so they don't have to marry cruel men. Dajon was also a great main character that I liked a lot. I found many characters with a variety of different characters just as I would in real life and I found it amazing. I realized I was as anxious to see Faith's fate as she herself was! I would definitely recommend this good book to all of my friends!

This was a well written book. I loved that she was the bad guy, but with good intentions. It is a change. She was in charge of her life, and she had a reason for all of the stuff she was doing. In the end, I wished that I could have the kind of faith and courage that she had! Another good one by MaryLu Tyndall!
