The Priest's Graveyard is intense and thrilling and challenging. How far would you go, rather, how far should you go, to stop someone from hurting someone else? At what point do you step back and say "that person is just going to have to suffer, I won't do anything to help them"? In the story, Danny believes it's his job to go as far as killing someone to save the people that person is hurting. The crazy thing is, I felt myself agreeing with his reasoning! It'll definitely make you think. The Priests Graveyard also explores judging others and revenge. But really, this story is about love and grace. This book is dark. But just like Ted's other books it's in the darkest moments that the light comes through the brightest. Amazing how that works. I've fallen in love with these characters and am looking forward to seeing them again. This book is a thrilling ride. It'll take your breath away. And it'll make you cry. And laugh. It'll change the way you think about people. This is definitely one of Ted's best.

Ted Dekker has written some awesome stuff, and this one is awesome. I started it as soon as it came in the mail and had it finished the next day. My sister-in-law tried to steal it while I was reading so I bought her a copy.

I love the way he switches between points of view throughout the book. It's a great read!

Renee Gilmore is a helpless victim sucked into a trap of drugs, hopelessness and fear. When she is rescued, she feels forever free and relieved. However, when an unimaginable string of events occurs, Renee is forced to take action and her life is suddenly intertwined with a strange priest.

Danny Hansen would be that strange priest. Once being a helpless victim himself, he is sick of being a witness of cruelty to human innocents as they slip through the law's hands. Thus, he decides to take the law into his own hands (only when the law fails) all in the name of justice. In this corrupt system there are many in the priest's graveyard.

Judge not, or you too may be judged.

To start off, 3D rating! This book completely lives up to the Dekker standard. Very readable book. The perspective in this book is an interesting one. It is in the first person point of view from a woman, but it quite often switches to the third person point of view of a man. That makes for an interesting style that allows you to crawl inside one character's head, and glance inside another's. The feel of the book is moderately dark, but in my opinion in no way a thriller, despite other claims. I think it is more in the suspense category, though not like "The killer is about to get you!" For a nice change there are no serial killers. Both the twist and message of this book grew in my mind like a natural inception so that I felt completely in sync with the characters. Great work Ted, unexpected and amazing!

WOW!!! The Priests Graveyard has everything you want in a great suspense novel. This book will captivate you from the first few pages and lead you on a journey that ends in a twist!! Ted Dekker has created characters that have lived wounded lives, and in this novel he shares with us how they go on living. You may question if you would have made those same choices and I think that's what Dekker wants - he wants us to question or motives - are they driven by love or hate? This book will take you into the mind of a priest who loves and yet seeks justice, and a woman wounded seeking revenge.

      Is this book dark? Absolutely

Is this book about love? Absolutely

Will this book make you question your motives? Absolutely

      Is this Dekker's best work?

I am not sure if this is Dekker's best work - I think that is still to come, or maybe has come in the works of...."The Circle Trilogy", "Three", "Adam", or "Blink"

      Is this Dekker's darkest book?

I don't think so....I think that Dekkers previous works "Immanuels Veins", "The Bride Collector", and "Bonemans Daughter" were darker.

This book is going to be a great addition to my library and I can't wait to share it with others!! Enjoy!!!
