I recommend this book highly to those who are intercessors as well as for any Christian. Andrew Murray's writings are truly annointed by the Holy Spirit. He wrote over 240 books and tracts. There a few compilations that cover 6-12 books in one volume. Try one and you'll be buy more!

I have given this as gifts for those who desire a closer walk with Jesus. It helps you gain insights to God that cause you to Love Him even more. It is a great book.

I am 51 years old and have read Andrew Murray for 30+ years. His writings have always been very deep and difficult to understand; however, I am so thankful I never gave up on studying his devotionals and books. Much of who I am today as a Christian and most of my growth spiritually is due to the Word of God as taught through Andrew Murray. This particular book is so awesome and challenges you down to the depths of your soul as far as intimacy with God is concerned. I literally will still be reading this book until the rapture comes or until my days on earth are over. If we as Christians could learn to walk every day in the truths as taught in this book, especially the in-depth areas such as humility, obedience, power of the blood of Christ, passion for His presence with us moment-by-moment, the world as we know it would be a different place as far as revival is concerned. We would be so in love with Christ and would be such contagious Christians--Christ's life would truly be manifested in us because He would be the priority in our lives. My prayer to God has always been: Lord, let me know you in the deep and intimate way that Andrew Murray knows You.
