What an inspiration this bible is!
I love how easy this bible is to read. It really brings to light what God calls us to do. Great missions bible.

I have enjoyed the Contempory English Translation and the insert pages. The highlighted verses remind us of our Christian obligation to fight the good fight of faith and mercy. We are saved unto good works and if all who name the Name of Christ would practice what we preach, we wouldn't have time to complain.

This Bible inserts "facts" about the evil United States in order to promote liberalism. It's a Bible for "blue" Christians. For example, it talks about how much money the US has spent on defense, and how everyone in the world could be fed with that money. Well, if it weren't for the US, there wouldn't be any freedom anywhere. Without defense of our nation and defense of freedom, every person on the globe would be subject to depots and would live in squalor. I know there is still poverty to overcome in the world. But Christians are already the most charitable people in the world, and if the U.S. weren't a free, rich nation, we American Christians would have no ability to be charitable.
