I purchased this item to use with my Pandigital E-Reader. It was one of the listed readers that was supported. However, I was not able to download this ebook to my reader. My Pandigital has the latest Android Software from the Pandigital website. Neither the CBDreader or the Digital Editions will download to the reader. I finally got the e-book to download to my desktop and tried to print out the pages on the Introduction to the Orthodox Church section. It keeps skipping some of the pages and will not allow me to print the pages being selected individually or as part of the group.
My complaint is that for me this is neither portable or useful for study since I am unable to import nor export text. Any note taking has to be done with pencil and paper while looking at the computer monitor.
The notations accompanying the text are generally brief and yet still have a depth to their theology. The Orthodox approach and presentation of the text is theologically tenable and thoroughly logical. For those who are accustomed to the scholarship of the MacArthur's and Scofield's of the world the Orthodox notes will be mind-blowing. The purchase is valuable if for no other reason than the English translation of the Septuagint that is published within.
This bible fulfills the goals of its publishers and, because of the commentary drawn from the early Church Fathers, it would be a most edifying addition to a non-Orthodox collection. It is essential for English speaking Orthodox.
