Joel B. His commentary on "The Gospel of Luke" (Eerdmans) and "Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels" (InterVarsity Press) each received book awards from "Christianity Today." His most recent publications include "1 Peter" in the Two Horizons New Testament Commentary series (Eerdmans) and "Seized by Truth: Reading the Bible as Scripture" (Abingdon). He has also written scores of articles and chapters-some for the academic world, others for the general church. He is the General Editor of the "Wesley Study Bible."
