I tried to like this book. It just too disjointed and poorly organized for my tastes. It's just what says it is, not a book but a series of lecture notes; a good example of the "Oh yeah? Yeah?" school of apologetics and debate. Still, I hope others can find it useful.
A masterpiece in Christian apologetics. A must for any Christian who takes his/her faith seriously. The philosophical world views may be a little difficult to understand as far the verbose nature of the text but if you persevere in it, this book will edify and add to you.
If you ever have the opportunity to hear Josh McDowell speak, go for' it cuz! He is a very powerful speaker. God has blessed me through Josh's words. He spoke at a spring camp many years ago, and jus' recently he spoke at my church on Easter Sunday. I had almost forgotten what a power speaker of' God he is. He tells it like it is, and this book does the same. It was because he mentioned the book at the end of his message that got me to track it down on Christian Book.Com and get myself a copy. His testimony explains why this book exist, He set out to disprove Christ, but in his pursuit he found that the evidence demand that he give his life to Christ. As a note, Josh did not mention that he nor his family has received no royalties from any of his books, not even this one...All royalties are given away.Aloha.
