There's a lot you want to learn about the Christian life. This volume offers you both the head knowledge and the heart knowledge you need to be a close disciple of Jesus Christ.
You'll learn what the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit really do, what you received in God's gift of salvation, and what the Bible's big themes are and how they fit together.
You'll learn why biblical truth offers the only ultimate answer, why you can trust God even when life makes no sense, and why Jesus came and how He could be both God and man.
You'll learn how you can guard against common slip-ups and pitfalls, how you can pray with power and confidence, and how to know and follow God's will for your life.
Through 36 brief, fast moving chapters, you'll cover miles of ground in your Christian understanding, hitting the high spots of even the deepest Bible doctrines and discovering how to put it all into practice in real life. Whether you're new to the Christian faith or in need of a refresher, the New Christian's Handbook presents the basics clearly, in a way you can use.
Sherry K.5 Stars Out Of 5May 23, 2010Sherry K.Great information. Easy to read. I love using it with my Confirmation Classes junior highers through senior highers, and another class with adults. Segments are concise, never boring and if the reader wants more info on any subject resources are listed. I get copies for new believers and youth studies. One small mistake on page 57, Luke 1:35 is listed, but Luke 1:41ff answers that it was the angel, Gabriel who spoke to Mary.
Chris JordanDuluth, GAAge: 35-44Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5February 3, 2010Chris JordanDuluth, GAAge: 35-44Gender: maleGood book. Though much of it is a repeat from his "30 Days to..." series. This is a great book to give to a new believer or someone who has not been well grounded to the Scripture. Max Anders has a great way of communicating. Get all of his books. You will not be disappointed.

Jennifer5 Stars Out Of 5April 17, 2009JenniferI started visiting a church over a year and a half ago. I had so many questions I needed answered and I can honestly say that most of my questions were answered after reading this book. I am so HAPPY I bought this book and I feel that every new Christian (like me) should read. Every Christian should own a copy of this book. I highly recommend it.
