In the chaotic days following The Rapture, Adam Riley, a former FBI agent who is falsely accused of murder, escapes from the oppressive new world government known as the Global Alliance to reunite with a small group of Christians, including their spiritual leader Jacob Krause. While Riley's former FBI partner agent Charles Baker is being blackmailed by the Global Alliance commander to hunt down Riley and expose the group's location, a breakaway group of militia has their own violent agenda.
