I bought this to use as a study in our women's small group meetings. We are currently on lesson 8 of the series. Chip Ingram is an excellent teacher and presenter of the Word. This is the second of his series that we have studied...the first being The Invisible War, and I would highly recommend any of his teaching series. Miracle of Lifechange takes you through the process that God uses to transform us from worldly to spiritual, from the old life to the new. He shows us, from the Word, what God desires from us, and things in our life that often hinder our changing. He uses the picture of the worm "morphing" into a butterfly, and, in the last lesson, he used the picture of a butterfly that refused to leave the cocoon and fly into the new world that was waiting for him to enjoy because he was afraid to take a chance and leave what was familiar and comfortable. That's the same picture of a Christian who refuses to put off the old and put on the new and become all that God intended him/her to become. The workbook is a good tool to follow along with the video and to use for discussion purposes after watching the teaching session. Each teaching session takes between 22 to 25 minutes, so that leaves you plenty of time for discussion and sharing, etc. This series would be good to use in Sunday School or Small Group settings, or just to do your own individual study.

The study guide is well designed and has just enough interaction to keep you focused yet not so much to distract you by filling in blanks and missing the next point being made by Chip Ingram.
