I like the numbered addition. It is easier to find when the pastor is using a different translation. The print is also easy to read, don't have to squint.

Very easy reading. It's a great bible for everyday language. I don't like the set up for the chapter and verse. I would not use this bible alone as a study bible.

In my daily studies I find The Message indispensable. To make a point in my sermon preparation, The Message is amazingly suitable. I quote the Word much better than before.

While I've only just started reading, I find it very interesting and it is providing a whole new slant on the often confusing stories of the old testament. I may not completely agree with every interpretation, but I do enjoy reading another's view.
