All is not well in the home of successful pastor and parenting expert Clayton Loverage, who has found that none of his proven techniques work on his youngest daughter, Ellen. Really good book. It was a little slow at the beginning, but once it got to the middle I just couldn't put it down.Great book, you should read it.

A very thought provoking novel. Kept you turning pages and did not end with the syrupy happily ever after we see so often in fiction. I would recommend this book to men and women as well as teens as it has a excellent message to all three. I found myself in the book. Makes you reevaluate how you communicate with your teens and rethink your assumptions about their actions in various situations. Wonderful book!

My husband and I are reading this book aloud while traveling in the car and it is excellent. My husband has never read much Christian fiction and he is really impressed with the abilities of this author. It makes a great introduction to Christian fiction for those who may be reluctant to read something outside of their mainline thriller type novels.

I feel both happy and sad when I read that this book is no longer available. I am happy that I purchased it and it really made my week, maybe less than a week, reading it. And I am sad to find out that other people don't have the opportunity to invest in a really good Christian book. It's the best reading I had in months!!! Highly recommend it!

As far as the book is concerned this would be five stars - but at least one instance of euphemistic cursing lost the half one. It was a little difficult to get used to all the listings of Ellen's reading, but is very much in character. This was an enjoyable read! -"No longer available" is sad. Hope they'll reprint sooner rather than later.I liked the listing of The Mending String Team on the last page. Wish all publishers would do something like that. And, oh, those sandwiches! I think I have to try and build some of them for myself!
