Not Recommended This movie had potential; however, it was not gospel-centered. I do not know why it is sold at CBD since the overall message contradicts the Gospel of Christ. We all need Jesus, but the movie says otherwise. January 22, 2013

Bad Acting I was not able to get into this movie at all because of the bad acting and at times I found the movie unrealistic and comical. This is just my opinion but I feel in general Christian movies do not have good actors and the dialogue is not believable. I was shocked to find out it was a true story and feel they could have done a better job portraying his life. January 9, 2013

Not recommended for a Christian This movie was good for entertainment only. There was no mention of Jesus or salvation at all. I could not share this with someone for help to lead them to Jesus for their salvation. The father seemed to believe that he was a self made man. He did not appear to need the Lord. January 5, 2013

Cheesy and deceptive I am a Christian who lives in Utah County. Although none of the characters are portrayed as coming from the Mormon/LDS faith, it is a movie that promotes self sufficiency. There is no relying on God for anything. It's about being a good person all by yourself. It really frustrates me that the LDS religion is constantly working to prove that it is just another mainstream Christian denomination. In reality, the Mormons believe they are the ONLY true church. They just don't tell non-Mormons that. December 27, 2012
