The Long War Against God
June 15, 2015
This is a great book! Dr. Morris knows his subject area so well. Scholarly. Detailed. Supported with facts. Most notably: check out the section on "Survival of the Fittest" and how that concept is totally satanic.
Studying from this book was a joy! We need more scholarly material that is factual and spiritual at the same time. This product is superb as most other writings by the author. It should be in your personal library.
I saw on youtube Dr. Henry Morris talk about this book and was intriged about the thought of Evolution having it's origins long before Darwin and even tracing it back to the devil himself. For me the highlight was the thought of why the Devil might think that he could win the war against God, I understand it was speculation only but it does make sense to me.
I found the book a little hard to follow sometimes with the big words, I found it helpfull to write the words down on a separate paper along with the corresponding deffinitions. Would be nice if it was in more of laymans terms but I understand that was Dr. Henrys terminology.
The first 3 chapters, as stated in the begining of the book deal with how the Evolutionary theory has corrupted society. I knew this already and found it a little redundent. A point I didn't know was how Wallace and Darwin came up with the theory at the same time pointing to a larger power at work.
This is an important book that chronicles the impact of Darwinian evolution in every sphere of modern learning. The agenda of course is a moral one and has nothing to do with scientific findings. The author does an excellent job at putting all the evidence together in such a compelling manner. I highly recommend this book by a very respected scientist.
This is a profoundly original view of apparently disparate historical events and how they relate in a way that is hard to deny. A pivotal book for me, a non-Christian, which answers questions that we are programmed by society not to even think to ask.
