I thoroughly enjoyed this book. What I most enjoyed was the way God's faithfulness is shown in circumstances that just don't make sense to us, and that He indeed does work all things for our good. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
The Long Road Home is a great story about how, even after tragedy, love can still blossom with Christ. A great story of God's unending forgiveness, and the wonderful plans He has for us. I liked how the main female character didn't have a model figure, because not everyone does. Often times it seems that only the perfect-looking girls can find love, but nothing is farther from the truth. Love doesn't see the person, but the heart inside of the person. Wick does a great job at showing this. Great book! I recommend it, but not without reading the first two books in the series.
