I didn't realize I was getting an updated version Copyrighted in 2006. I guess I was expecting at least a reprint of the original book. Since I purchased and gave copies of the original for Christmas presents to grade school classmates in the late 40's, I was expecting something more like that version. I delivered papers to earn the money for them. Something unheard of today. Just an old man's disappointment... September 26, 2012

Not so good I personally did not enjoy this book for my children the words were way to BIG and normally i like big words. I just didn't appreciate the inaccurate description of heaven I'm sure it's supposed to be cute but it's not accurate. I'll pass. December 5, 2011

The illustrations are incredible! The story, however, gave a sense of heaven being a place where there are expectations on behavior and certain "good" behavior is rewarded. That is not the kind of heaven I would like to go to and will not expose my grandchildren to that kind of story. I do not feel like this is the heaven the bible speaks of, and the other angels played a bigger part in the story than the God who has already prepared the best place for us in eternity where there will be no expectations of us. I returned the book. October 31, 2011

This was my favorite book when I was a little girl. Even before I could read I would sit and look at the pictures for hours. God spoke to my heart. I had one that was printed in the 50's the pictures are different and more (politically correct)but still the same message. I wanted my grandchildren to have it so I bought 3. It was a blessing to be able to get them online because I'm not in a very convienent spot for shopping. Your service was great ..thankyou January 13, 2010
