    Tell us a little about yourself.  I began writing seriously in high school, after being told by my English teacher that I had a talent for writing. She insisted I write for her over the summer, so I wrote my first short story. Since then, I have endeavored to write as much as I can, and only recently discovered my call to write Christian-based fiction.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  During a teaching on the Old Testament at a church retreat, the instructor made a statement I had never heard before. He said the Bible is fairly clear that Satan fell BEFORE creation. This sparked my imagination in wondering what he was like before he rebelled against the God Who had created him. So, I wrote a story about it.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope people will see themselves in some of Satan's thoughts and actions. We all rebel against God, and many times it is for the same reasons that the best and brightest of the angels fell.

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I learned a great deal about God's messengers while researching this book. They are a fascinating group that can provide insight into God's involvement with every aspect of His creation.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I am primarily a reader of sword-and-sorcery fantasy, but enjoy books of most genres. I am hoping to write and publish more books that fit that subject matter, though with a Christian slant. It seems to be a field that is somewhat light, and I think there is a lot that can be said about God and His work using such themes.
