This movie offers no hope
The description of this movie is honest and let's you know up front what you are getting. It says that the characters in the movie "all have some sort of flaw". These flaws are adultery, drug use (Idolatry), anger and more. These are not flaws, they are sins, but the movie deals with them as flaws. The message is built on the fact that we all make "mistakes" and we have to forgive ourselves and move on so we can do what God has for us to do. The Bible does not say, "For all have flaws" The Bible says, "for all have sinned" Yes we have all sinned, but how do we have any power to forgive ourselves? We don't. The wages of sin is death. We have earned death. We have trespassed against God and he is the only one that can forgive us. We need to repent (turn from our sin), plead with him to forgive us and accept the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for our atonement. It is true sometimes Christians feel like God can never use them because they have done such bad things and get stuck and don't move on, but they do not need to forgive themselves! The need to accept God's forgiveness. It is blasphemy both to believe that we have the power to forgive ourselves and not to take him at his word. He says if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us. We call God a liar when we don't move on from there. The movie also leads one to believe that with the help of some friends, they can pull themselves up by their boots straps and move forward. It gives no hope, because when we depend on ourselves we may succeed for a while, but will end up right back where we started! There is hope in Christ, behold he makes all thing new! There is not one scene of genuine repentance in this movie, they just change their attitude and thing get better. I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was not sound in the Gospel. It had potential and had a few humorous portions in it, but the overall message was not biblical.
