ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

Melissa5 Stars Out Of 5Almost too realFebruary 5, 2015MelissaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5If you have read Frank Perettis This Present Darkness and like it then this is a book you will thoroughly enjoy.
From the beginning I was pulled into this book and the realness of it. This book is so close to real life and what teen-agers struggle with.
Our four characters are all going through something, or have gone through something and the enemy is playing on the their weakness and wounds.
Oh, to be inside the head of the enemy made me so mad sometimes because I know these are the games he really tries to play with us and our children. He even talks about how he knows he cant take down those that are already believers but can make us ineffectivegrrrr.
This book is layered in truth and grounded in the Word. I think it was eye-opening for me to read this and be reminded how the enemy uses seemingly innocent things for his twisted plans.
The main characters are young but I dont feel this is a young adult novel. I believe this book is for everyone and parents with teens will especially glean a lot from this book.
This is a novel I highly recommend :)
A copy of this book was given to me by the publisher through the Blogging for Books program in exchange for an honest review.

Mrs. V5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent read-aloud book for parents of teensNovember 18, 2011Mrs. VQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As a mother of teens, I have been reading this book aloud a chapter or two a night to our 14 year old son. The book is a great tool to break down barriers between children and adults and open communication on sensitive topics of spiritual warfare and other items like abortion, suicide, occultism and spiritualism counterfeits, teen sex, abstinence, eating disorders, etc. Reading it aloud showed my son that Mamma could be trusted not to "freak out" when hearing about bad things his classmates or others might be doing. Our 16 year old daughter also read this and was highly encouraged in her spiritual walk.
In addition to addressing teen issues, the book shows that even parents can be deceived and manipulated by the evil ones and that our kids can stand alongside us in this spiritual battle and encourage us to do what is right, too. It has some surprising twists in the story. Our family highly recommends this book!!

This one was so hard-hitting and relevant for today's world that I ordered one for each of my adult children to give them perspective of the supernatural realm and how real it is whether we want to see it or not. It covers so many areas with such great insight - truly eye opening.
