Plenty of space for lesson plans for one or more kids; reading list, curriculum page, extra activities, test scores, couple of calendars, and plenty of planning pages.

She thought of a lot when planning this planner. It is in a spiral binder so it lays flat. The only thing that doesn't work for me, personally, is that I like to take a lot of notes when I am doing my lesson planning so I don't have to reference other materials. There just isn't enough room for me to make all the notes I like to for daily lesson planning. If you are a "nutshell" note taker, then this is definitely a great planner all the way around for you. Additionally, I noticed the author lives about an hour down the road from me, so I really wanted to support her.
Michele Tubbs5 Stars Out Of 5August 25, 2011Michele TubbsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This planner was ideal for our needs. There is plenty of details for record keeping, but not too much extra stuff that I will not use. We only have one student, so will be able to use this same planner next year. It is ideal for families with more than one child being schooled.
AnnieAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent Lesson PlannerJuly 29, 2011AnnieAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5I have used this planner for several years to help keep track of 4 children's school work. I have two children that have moved up to the High School version of this book now and that one is equally convenient to use. I would recommend this lesson planner if you have more than one student. It is nice to have something to keep track of everything in a book that isn't bulky. I have six children and this will be the only lesson planner I use (other than the High School version).

I regret not buying it before I started homeschooling.

Tell us a little about yourself. My husband and I have five children and have been homeschooling now for 7 years. We are constantly seeking God's direction for finding ways of making our schooling exciting and organized. God knows our children better than we ourselves and knows just what we need to train them successfully.
What was your motivation behind this project? I was motivated to create this planner to keep all of my records for all of my children in one book. This kept me from always trying to find the planner for one of my children. Having one book to keep up with was much easier. It also allows me to keep track of all my children's extra curricular activities as well as their reading lists. This eliminated running to the refrigarator to find out what time ball practice was. All my days work was able to be listed neatly in this one book.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope this product will take some of the work out of keeping lesson plans, but mostly I hope this product will remind parents that no matter what plans we make, we should allow God to change them and direct our steps to best benefit our children. Each planner has the scripture Proverbs 16:3 located in the front to remind us of this. God bless you and your family as you follow God's calling of training up your children.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My complete source of inspiration in creating this product I credit to my Lord. As a homeschooling mother of five children I am constantly depending on him for fresh new ideas that might make teaching easier and more successful.
