This is a classic for every Christian on giving. John Stott walks us through the principles of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 8&9. He shows how all our giving relates to our grasp of the Trinity. He writes pastorally, in encouraging us to think and pray about our giving. He says there may be times when, if circumstances change, we need to revise our giving downwards.This is an excellent booklet for churches, or mission agencies, or Christian development agencies. If your church has a capital campaign for a buiding project, or just wants members to think prayerfully about regular giving - it would edifying. John Stott finishes by saying that he preached the sermon to himself before he wrote it, and that it encouraged him to increase his regular giving.
