The Goodness of God Unabridged Audiobook on CD
Lately, I've struggled some with how to answer questions about evil and suffering. The Goodness of God by Randy Alcorn was a great answer.Although it is a fairly short audio book (3.5 hours), it was not a quick listen. I found I needed to listen to one chapter at a time, and usually listen to it twice. Alcorn gets into so many aspects of why evil exists, and while I did not agree with everything he said, much of what he said really did resonate with me. Some of his illustrations were fantastic. And, wow, did it ever make me think!Anyone who struggles with the "how could God allow this?" questions in their life should read this. And that is probably nearly everyone. Because, as Alcorn mentions in the introduction, the question of why there is pain and suffering in this world is the question, not just a question. I plan to listen to this book straight through again. Excellent book.Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this audiobook free from Oasis Audio as part of their Review Program. No other compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
